OU-Domain-Client Administrator Setup Tips

The following permissions are the recommended set for an OU Administrator:

 

  1. CANS_CREATE
  2. CANS_DELETE
  3. CANS_EDIT
  4. CANS_VIEW
  5. CLIENTS_CREATE
  6. CLIENTS_DELETE
  7. CLIENTS_EDIT
  8. CLIENTS_OU_EDIT
  9. CLIENTS_OU_VIEW
  10. CLIENTS_TAG_EDIT
  11. CLIENTS_TAG_VIEW
  12. CLIENTS_VIEW
  13. OU_VIEW
  14. REPORTS_VIEW
  15. <Any Reports that OU Admins should have visibility to>
  16. RESPONSIBILITIES_CLIENT_EDIT
  17. RESPONSIBILITIES_CLIENT_VIEW
  18. RESPONSIBILITIES_OU_EDIT
  19. RESPONSIBILITIES_OU_VIEW
  20. RESPONSIBILITIES_USER_EDIT

  • Remember to give the OU administrator responsibility for their OU and to place staff and clients and that OU that the OUAdmin will be giving responsibilities to.

Domain Administrator

 

II.For a Domain Administrator add all permissions and remove the OU_ADMINISTRATOR Permission.

 

 


 

Office Support

 

III.For a Office Support (Client Creation) add the following:

 

  1. ROLES_VIEW
  2. CLIENTS_CREATE
  3. CLIENTS_DELETE
  4. CLIENTS_EDIT
  5. CLIENTS_OU_EDIT
  6. CLIENTS_OU_VIEW
  7. CLIENTS_TAG_EDIT
  8. CLIENTS_TAG_VIEW
  9. CLIENTS_VIEW
  10. OU_ADMINISTRATOR
  11. RESPONSIBILITIES_USER_VIEW
  12. CANS_VIEW
  13. DATA_ENTRY_ADMINISTRATOR
  14. CANS_CREATE
  15. CANS_EDIT

 

The Office Support person should be placed at the OU where they will be administering and entering clients and have responsibility for the OU so they can work within it.
